Starting a Lacrosse team

The following are parent guidelines and commitment/expectations:

We have set the bar very high for your athlete and strive to provide a positive learning environment for each and every one of them.  We ask that you adhere to the same high standards.

1)  Your athlete will be well rested and fed.

2)  Your athlete will be dropped off and picked up ON TIME for all practices and games.

3)  If your athlete is unable to make a practice or a game, due to an irreversible commitment or injury/illness, you MUST alert the coach via an email or written note with plenty of advance notice.

4)  Your athlete is required to have their lacrosse-specific equipment at all times.

 PARENTAL CONDUCT AT GAMES

We know we can count on our families to be a positive force for our teams during games.  If we could make parental attendance mandatory at games, we would…..but we can’t!  We hope that you all have the opportunity to watch your daughters out on the field, YOU WILL BE AMAZED at how awesome they are!
Here are the rules in case you need to review:

1) Parents will, at all times, respect the decisions of the players, coaches, staff and referees of both teams.  Failure to act in an appropriate and positive manner is grounds for immediate ejection from the stands.  WE ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS.

2)  Parents are there to support the athletes.  This means cheering in a POSITIVE, ENCOURAGING manner for our successes and failures on the field.  Negative comments will not be tolerated.

3)  Parents are urged to flip through the section on rules to become familiar with the game of lacrosse.  It will make the game less confusing and more enjoyable.
